OK this is where i come in and say. THERE IS NO WAY ARIZONA IS GOING TO TRADE DOMI AND OEL for MATTHEWS. NON

Lemme break it down.

Edler ='s the Domi and 2nd

Matthews ='s the OEL and the 1st in 2016.

That's actually a very fair trade

Just like I thought you have no idea what your talking about

Kadris last two years are 40 and 50 points NOT ANYWHERE NEAR A PPG. Gardiner is 25 and is a good  5,not anything more than that, he is also left handed.

Please check your facts before trying to prove a point.

How many games did kadri play? Lock out year he put up 44 point in 48 games.  Hmmm. Maybe you should check again.

When the offer occurred gardiner wasn't 25. It was one year removed from Burke saying he was there franchise and untradable.

Kadri - 7th overall

gardiner - 17th overall

nylander - 8th overal.

I’d trade Matthews to ARZ for king’s ransom

Matthews + Edler for OEK + Domi + 2016 1st round pick (13-18 range) + 2017 2nd round pick

Flip the 2016 pick first round pick for Bowey

Sedin Sedin Hansen

Lucic Sutter Rodin

Domi Horvat Grenier

Gaunce Mccann Dorsett

OEL Tanev

Hutton Sbisa

Pedan Bowey

Tryamkin

If you want you'd can still sign buff, but he's rumored to want 8 years. I'd pass and bowey could be top 4 by the end of the year.

Arizona also owns NYR 2016 1st

What do you guys think of this Nylander kid. Would you take him over a d-man (Chychrun or Juolevi) as per Buttons mock draft. I think I know the answer as most of you have a hard on for a d-man but I did not get to see him play in the WJC.

He's a great prospect and so is his brother but I'd rather take Juolevi. We need a stud Dman with his talents. He can get the puck out of the defensive end with ease and hes a PP QB. Chychrun is a but overrated in my opinion but I haven't seen him play a lot. He reminds me of Dion in Toronto. Was Juolevi injured in the gold medal game?

If we got the first overall I wouldn't trade it. While we have good centre depth, we're in sore need of a number 1C once Hank retires, and those players don't come by easily. Matthews looks to be the real deal.

The idea of trading Pick 1 is completely mind boggling. And so is the package proposed by Arizona.

Matthews is the right choice for the first pick IMO but if someone who has to pick second has to make a decision the best one would be to trade down to 3 and pick up one of Laine and Puji and get something extra in that trade.
