Vancouver road rage incident leads to 'instant karma' arrest (VIDEO)

rsz_terminal_avenue_road_rage-984x500.jpA dashcam video posted on YouTube that captures an apparent road rage incident and alleged assault is making its rounds on social media.

The ‘instant karma’ incident occurred on February 12 on Terminal Avenue, near Science World and Pacific Central Station.

In the video, a man is seen getting out of his white car and walking towards the driver of the car in front of him. The man touches the driver-side window and appears to assault the driver.

Other drivers act as witnesses and the man is unable to leave the scene as vehicles are blocking his vehicle. One of the witnesses walks over to the other side of the street to alert police: Vancouver Police were in the area responding to an unrelated incident.

Two police officers then walked over and arrested the suspect for the assault. Towards the end of the video, the individual who recorded the footage dubs the incident “instant karma in less than 3 minutes” – the duration of the entire incident from apparent road rage to arrest.

According to CTV, the suspect driver is 26 years old and is now facing charges of assault. The cause of the apparent road rage is not known.

Not really super ragey, but entertaining none the less.

What a loser. I once saw some guy in his 30s/40s get out of his car and start slamming on the window and hauling on the door handle of the car of some old lady who just cut him off. He got what was coming for him, but unlucky for him it wasn't the police.

Doesn't matter what the person did to piss you off, you can't go and attack someone in a rage. You want to act like an animal then go live in some war torn country where they can't stop fighting each other.

why didn't the guy with the camera in his car get out.

Because this is the real world, where real actions have real consequences. Getting out of your car isn't smart unless there's absolutely no other option and someone is going to get hurt if you don't or something.

This was road rage like any other, and it was clear that the conflict wasn't going to solve anything.

Getting out of your car could equal your kids never seeing their father or mother again... for example.

In all fairness there are a lot of bad drivers in this city that make me want to get out and punch them....

The worst it's ever come to is a flying coffee from my car to theirs and even then you've got to really set me off (it only happened once)

White shirt guy is clearly an immature douchebag. Wish the few minutes prior to that were on video as well. Probably just a quick lane change before the red light that got Buddy Fresh all hounded up.

Punch looked more like a tickle but hey, assault is assault.

In my own experience all I've ever done is swear at people who eff up while I wish certain things upon them.

I did get hit by a car as a pedestrian once though, something extra may happened there.

Overall, I'd say:

edit: language warning
