desiboynux4lifee*******
I think he returns tomorrow against the Leafs. Question is, what type of Bieksa shows up. Do we get that 2011 Bieksa back, who would make smart defensive plays and use his ways to intimidate opponents, or will we get the lazy Bieksa. It's going to be interesting now with our defence finally healthy. So what do you guys think, will Bieksa make our team better or worst for the remaining games. Also, let's not forget that Bieksa is coming off a injury which will probaly take him longer to get back into the gist of things. I do hope we do get the old school Bieksa back because at this moment our defense has been pretty much invisible on the offensive side of the game. What do you guys think, which Bieksa shows up for the Canucks'?
Erik Karlsson
I think his return will spark the rest of the team whether he plays bad or not. He's going to be rusty for a while though. Makes our pairings better either way.. Edler-Tanev Hamhuis-Bieksa Sbisa-Clendening/Corrado/Weber/Stanton
Templeton Peck
Bieksa is the Britta of defenceman?

Heretic
We actually did better than I expected without him in the line up. We were 12 wins, 11 losses (12 if you count the game he was injured in). Last time he was out, we were below .500. He will definitely make the team better - though I worry he's rushing back - broke his hand - can't see him getting into a fight the rest of this season... JamesB
MAKE IT WORST Bieksa has had a tough year, but I doubt if putting him in would give the Canucks the worst defence in the NHL. However, I admit that the expected pairing of Sbisa and Bieksa does make me nervous. Who is going to be the grown-up?

However, I admit that the expected pairing of Sbisa and Bieksa does make me nervous. Who is going to be the grown-up? They should go with: Edler-Tanev Hamhuis-Sbisa Stanton-Bieksa Bieksa is not what he used to be and should not be rushed back to big minutes or it will cost us. He has had a pretty disastrous season defensively and while he will make the team better they need to realize he is not a go to guy. Sbisa has had some bumps in the road but has earned a top 4 spot on this team at this point.
thad
10 times better in the playoffs. Guys been to the dance before, he knows what's up. We're gonna have a good few youngins in the lineup and more as injuries pile up. Just his presence and seeing the way he carries himself and prepares each day is invaluable. He'll turn it up come post season. He knows he's only got so many cracks at the cup left.
Brad Marchand
Bieksa and his love of milk hot dogs will make the team Bratwurst. But seriously, his shorthanded on-ice shots against per 60 of 38.1 is 2nd best in the NHL for defencemen with at least 60 minutes of shorthanded ice time, so getting him back will help the penalty kill at the very least. For comparison, Sbisa's PK shots against per 60 is 58.2.

billabong
He'll make us better and hopefully he will play with hammer to settle him down because he has been lost all year without playing with a consistent right handed shot. Hammer has a big chunk of his time here with either tanev or bieksa and that's when he's played his best hockey Edler-tanev Hamhuis-bieksa Stanton-Sbisa Clendening/corrado-weber
apollo
Better. 100% better. This team is better with Kevin in the lineup rather than not in it. That's a fact... No clue why people bash him constantly

Crabcakes
OP, it's better or worse...... decent grammar = credibility depends on the strength in Bieksa's left hand, he brings lots of intangibles
