Puck hits side of the net, almost called a goal! (STL/MIN)

Wow. That commentator and the refs, and even the goal reviewers in Toronto are so dumb.

How do they not see it wasn't in the net? The netting was clearly in front of the puck at one angle, and clearly not in the net from another angle. Don't they look at all angles when doing a goal review?

At least they caught it in time. Had they dropped the puck after the first review, that would have counted.

The 'war room' in Toronto should be able to look at a goal from ALL available angles before rendering a call.

Had they done that the first time, there wouldn't have been any confusion.

In some respects, the NHL remains a bush league.

if it hadnt been pointed out to us we probably would have missed it from that camera angle too.

I'm going to assume they didn't have that second angle till it showed up on broadcast...
