S N Y P E R S 7
So, looking at the pipeline, I love imagining... possibilities. Post your fantasy prospect lineup, prospect+pro lineup, etc. So, this is what I've been imagining as of late: Premise: Role Four Lines; Equal Ice-Time Each ------------------------------------------------------------ Line 1: Kenins - Horvat - Kassian Line 2: Baertschi - Harkins [draft 2015] - Virtanen Line 3: Shinkaruk - McCann - G.Gagne[draft 2015] Line 4: Jensen - Gaunce - Grenier Left off... Cassels Blomstrand Vey Fox Devin Sideroff [draft 2015] This is what I do when I don't want to read textbooks.

S N Y P E R S 7
Gaunce has bad foot speed and is now a winger. Not trying to offend you, but can you skate faster? That's a really big statement... and pretty snide. He's a really good hockey player who's being eased into a new role. He can be both a winger and a center; he's played center his whole life. Baer.
Baer-Horvat-Virtanen Shinkaruk-McCann-Kassian Trenin[2015]-Vey-Jensen Kenins-Gaunce-Grenier Cassels Kylington[2015]*-Tanev Tryamkin-Subban Sautner-Clendenning McNally Demko O'Connor** * I know he is a bit out of our range, but I think we should trade up for him. ** Canucks definitely need to sign this guy. -AJ-
I don't understand the point of separating Horvat and Kenins. They clearly have beautiful chemistry.
CanuckMan10
I don't understand the point of separating Horvat and Kenins. They clearly have beautiful chemistry. For the next couple years, meh, But Horvat's upside will probably outgrow Kenins. Horvat will hopefully make it to the second line and who knows if Kenins will. Professor.of.Perception
A line id love to see is Matthias-Bonino-Kassian Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata Matthias-Bonino-Kassian Higgins-Richardson-Burrows (Dorsett looked good last night with this line) Dorsett-Horvat-Hansen easily could switch Burrows and Dorsett, and leaves Vey, and Kenins to be worked in when lack of effort shows up. As for our defence, id love to see Hammer, and Bieksa back together Hamhuis-Bieksa Edler-Tanev Stanton-Sbisa but really the last pairing we could cycle around till a pair clicked: Stanton-Clendening-Sbisa-Corrodo-Weber

If you read reports from comets and canucks, they moved him to the wing because of his foot speed. Maybe he moves back to the middle but I doubt it. Jiggs50
Gaunce has bad foot speed and is now a winger.Haha the speed bs again. Didn't people say that about Horvat? Gaunce has improved his skating a ton.
DownUndaCanuck
1) Trade our 1st rounder + McCann + Higgins to any bottom-7 team for their 1st round pick (top-7 pick) --> Draft Strome/Barzal/Zacha/Marner (in that order) 2) Trade Kassian + Cassels + 2nd/3rd round pick for Joe Morrow (Boston) Our linuep in 3-5 years time: Jensen - Strome - Virtanen Shinkaruk - Horvat - 2016 1st round pick Kenins - Matthias - Vey Sedin - Sedin - Gaunce/UFA/whoever Edler - Tanev Morrow - Corrado Hamhuis - Clendening Sbisa
Phil_314
I'd love to see (if I'm the GM, and this is arm-chairing, so here goes): Sedin - Sedin - Kassian Baertschi - Hanzal - Vrbata (Martin for Bones and 2nd, should be enough; if need be, add a prospect) Matthias - Horvat - Burrows (play-driving, two-way 3rd line that can score; not keeping Bo on the 4th) Kenins* - Richie - Higgins (all three are physical, straight-line guys and this line should gel well) / Hansen (if moved for the Top-4 D, then re-sign Dorsett) Edler - Tanev Hammer - _______ (normally Juice, but want to see what he, Hansen, Sbisa's rights could get in a R.H.D.) Gelinas - Clendening (for Vey and 3rd; Jersey needs forwards for that 30's group they have up front) Weber (or Stanton) Miller/ Lack (could see them platooning already) In prospect depth, for now (in terms of future role) Baertschi - McCann - Virtanen Shinkaruk - Horvat - Jensen Kenins/ Valk? - Cassels - Kassian Fox/ Kenins? - Gaunce - Grenier Hutton/ McNally - Tanev (is Hutton a right-side guy?) McNally/ Hutton - Corrado/ Clendening Tryamkin - Subban/ Corrado Demko

Baer.
wow CDC sure has had a hard on for Hanzal these past couple weeks. Not just in this thread but in a lot of proposals. I thought we didn't like him?
