Poor guy.

Some spectators who attended Saturdays Vancouver Canucks game at Rogers Arena had a bit of fun in their seat section.

A viral photo posted onto Hockey Lifestyles Instagram account on Sunday morning shows fans stacking four empty beer cans onto the head of a passed-out man.

Those around the man were seemingly celebrating the balancing endeavour, turning their attention away from the ice where the Canucks were holding an early lead to win 4-1 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It is not known how the man could have fallen asleep within the noisy hockey arena environment where the home team was winning. Perhaps those cans stacked on top of his head were his?

Looks like a complete set-up. No way those cans stay on for more than few seconds. even asleep, anyone's head moves about. Even a whisker, and those cans are spread out on the aisle.

Sounds like those involved just wanted their 15 seconds of "fame".

i know someone who is in that pick and didnt know this guy and the picture i was shown was from the other angle with only three cans. this person i know said this guy was trashed and was out cold for a long time.

Well, I hope they're proud of themselves. Something to tell the grandkids, I guess.

So while Toronto fans were busy outchanting our fans, they were playing Jenga?

Uh, game going on guys...might want to watch and actually cheer your team on. Or not.

(Does the guy behind him have exactly the same shirt on?)

Started serving beer cans last season I believe. You can get beer cans at BC Place as well now. They can't serve them to you closed though. They open them.

ahh..I know in the States they have special plastic bottles for games..I guess to take away the injury aspect.

Hearty breakfast including tomato and avocado will help this... I wouldn't show my face for a week if that was me. Yikes. Also, listening to the fox today, sounds like THE PINT is going to be rocking tomorrow. They have 60 kegs of Guinness. First 100 people after opening at 9am get free breaky/brunch. I wonder if anyone will make it to 3am?

Could have been an intermission?

That and Toronto fans are always obnoxious so its no real surprise they made themselves heard.

True. And, to be truthful, I'd be laughing. I do love the upper bowl shenanigans...just don't like the opposing fans to be louder than we are in our building.
