Dogbyte
No the Vancouver music scene sucks .. I hope they get back to actual rock n roll. No wonder we suck sometimes.
Gyllenhaal
The lyrics of 'where the streets have no name' "I want to run I want to hide ... We're beaten and blown by the wind Trampled into dust" This song sucks. It's like we're begging for mercy.

Canucks_fo_life
YES! It's the best intro in the league and one of the best in pro sports, U2 is a must in the playoffs

I want to tear down the walls That hold me insideI want to reach outAnd touch the flameWhere the streets have no nameI want to feel, sunlight on my faceSee that dust cloud disappear without a traceI want to take shelter from the poison rainWhere the streets have no name
oldnews
If they make the playoffs..... Ask the captain. That's my opinion. What does that song evoke from the roster players? Does it raise the hairs on the back of their neck, or turn their stomach? For me, it carries a bit of nostalgia. Positive visualization of an incredible hockey team. Momentum. I can live with the U2 up to that era - but everything from that point forward is roadkill imo.

buddhahoodlum
They should use Dimmu Borgir's Progenies of the Great Apocalypse. First, it's an epic song. Second, they're practically Swedish (Norwegian, actually, but hey don't they both share a Viking heritage?) Third, it's definitely music for going into battle. Noseforthenet
A little less entitlement in a song, like we deserve the win and a little more swagger to build our guys' confidence and reminds our guys to have fun out there. Maybe a rap tune or something pop punk like All the Small Things by Blink-182.
