The 6’2” 194-pound native of Toronto, Ontario was signed as a free agent by Vancouver on May 31, 2010.
73 Percent
Little high for me.
Plaguez
Pretty high AAV for a guy who is great defensively, but lacks in every other aspect. Not thrilled with that number.
Metal Face Doom
Exactly what I thought he was going to make. Between 4.25 to 5 million. I'm assuming there is no NTC since we paid a premium.
Guest Dasein
Solid deal as long as no NTC That's definitely a movable contract if some of our younger guys with better offense develop (Corrado)
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
I little higher than I was expecting it to be but Tanev has been so rock solid for us Its well worth it

cbdoubleu
Don't like the term length, or the amount, but at least no NTC (that I've heard so far). Definitely a moveable contract if Tanev starts to decline, or never improves on his offensive game. I guess it's in line with some other dependable D men with little upside. Tanev could still develop in to a 8G, 30-40A kind of D man.
nux4lyfe
Little high, But I guess JB knows what he's doing....
Boudrias
Don't mind the $'s but I hope that JB did not give him a NTC!
Angry Goose
He's our top pairing D man, can log huge minutes, and who would you rather have in our D zone against another team's top players? Yeah I thought so. Stoked!
CeeBee51
I can live with that. Just hope he can take the pounding. Love his defensive game and hope he can up the offense just a wee bit.
Ghostsof1915
As long as there's no NTC, I'm good.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
I cannot see JB carrying 5 Dman next season making 3 mil + With the emergence of Sbisa playing very well down the stretch and Juice and Hammer struggling mightly, Clendening, Corrado need waivers next season, I'd expect some moves to be made on the blue come summer this year.
