Been browsing around for a 7" android tab and found one new for $179.00 ($199.98 total) + free shipping over $99

Everywhere I've seen sells them for about $250-300 or is no longer available.

Is it worth it?

Website is called B&H Photo Video which is situated in New York.

Can't speak to the model but BH Photo is legit. I've bought a ton of camera gear from them and they were a pleasure to deal with.

Canadian $ sucks right now though for buying from the USA. That $199US is basically $250CA.

My mom has one. For the price, it's awesome. Otherwise, it's still awesome. I can't imagine what it can't do that 500 dollar tablets can.

I used it for a bit to play poker, read ebooks, etc., and didn't feel like it was slow or non-responsive ever.

Sweet thanks. Just have to wait for a deal now.

Price still hasn't dropped... Anyone know of a place that sells this for under $200???

Try to buy one brand new off Craigslist, Used, Kijiji, Ebay, etc..

Here are some example: I am assuming you're from Vancouver? but if not will you get the point

http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/ele/4958396432.html

http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/ele/4962602086.html

One is like new and claims to not have a mark on it and the other is new..

I would still examine them closely if you ever want to buy something like this.
