And you seem to think that suppressing what people do sexually would somehow improve our morals. Maybe you would be happier int he middle east. Their attitudes are not so relaxed. Are they morally superior? Neither society is morally superior because all have flaws.. This might sound bias considering I am Indian..But it really depends more on what part of the country you're talking about.. As you may know its a large country consisting of many different cultures, races, ethnicity, etc.. It's basically like all of Europe in one Country and unlike China there is no dominant ethnicity, but instead the dominant religion is Hinduism.. But anyway generally women in the North of India just before Kashmir are treated slightly better than the rest aside from honour killings.. Women only tend to be more "submissive" when it comes to VERY generalized sexual roles because even in our current, FAR more sexually enlightened, Western society they're still subject to more restriction/judgement for openly expressing their sexuality. It's the player/stud vs slut/easy double standard. We're more evolved than we were but there's still plenty of work to do. Especially if your posts are any indication. Contrary to what you think, we actually need to keep making sex MORE open, and accepted in all it's wonderful forms and without judgement. Not head backwards in our attitudes. As for porn, the quantity/availability is not an issue IMO. The problem is the quality. The best way to fix that IMO is to actually allow women to more openly express THEIR needs, desires and address their pleasure in porn than what has traditionally been seen in more male oriented material. The best way to do that is to keep moving forward in removing judgement on women who enjoy sex as much as men do and allow them to express that more fully. On video or otherwise.
