Lancaster
don't be mean. i just want to now Just intro to psych stuff. People remember things that happened, but not things that don't happen. If I "predict" a major accident or disaster, it may seem like I'm psychic... but how many predictions didn't come true? Even the psychic posterboy Nostradamus was only correct a fraction of everything he wrote, with only vague interpretations. Anyone can just go, "Someday in the future, some Beast from the East will consume this worldly component and wreck havoc upon all." But what does that really mean precisely? Terrorists from the Middle East? China consuming natural resources and upsetting global climate? Godzillia rising from the Sea of Japan? It could be tailored to fit whatever you want it to fit. Tystick
I only read a couple of the links. OP, was the person that has this incredible ability to talk to spirits correct about the Earthquake? Or the Shooting and Bombing? See unless anything has actually happened, it's just clear BS. Notice how the person posting is saying things very vaguely. As if to set himself or herself up to be at least partially correct. I agree with the person saying they are about as reliable as religious people. To me it just seems like he/she is imagining a scenario, (calling it a "vision") and banking on the feeling he/she gets from it. AKA, delusional. Sometimes someone strikes gold other times they miss completely. You just need to read through it and be the judge for yourself

LordCanuck
Earthquakes happen every day and have happened everyday on this planet since its creation. So to say this person predicted anything is a joke. Leading earthquake experts have said for decades a big one on the BC coast is inevitable. So yeah. HerrDrFunk
The Canucks will win the Stanley cup by 2020. I promise you, absolutely no one will remember I said that if they don't but I'll look like a psychic if they do. It's really that easy.

Predicting an earthquake in a region that's well known for it's seismic instability is not exactly predicting the winning 649 numbers. Kid, I'll give you Uncle Funk's guarantee, there is no such thing as a psychic. People who claim to be one are usually found to be A ) frauds or B ) mentally ill. drummer4now
Real questions are horoscopes real? or fortune cookies? I notice that if I read my horoscope after the fact it was published it usually is true or similar to that day... and once a friend had a extra fortune cookie that said my donation would be appericated... this was literally a couple of hours after I donated money to the terry fox foundation when I was in High school... Some bizarre luck? or psychics?

Some bizaare luck? or psychics? With horoscopes, it's a lot of self-fulfilling prophecy. You're like, "hm, this says it's going to happen today." And then you keep looking for ways for it to happen.
