Both Sedins have at least 70 points

Just as big a turnaround as the team. Both top 20 in the league in scoring. Last year Daniel had 47 points in 73 games. Henrik 50 points in 70 games.

Although they've had a reputation for folding against tough opposition, they've been better than ever against those teams this year. Lots of positive signs going into the playoffs.

There's 0 surprise. They're elite generational talents.

This is not a homer statement so don't even get on my back about it. Facts are facts. Call their scoring championships Homers. Or Hart... Or Pearson...

The sedins will dominate until the end of their contracts.

It's crazy how little respect the Sedins get around the league. They have been two of the best players in the NHL over the last decade yet people still call them "sisters" and "weak." They take hit after hit every game and never complain or whine. They are also two of the most consistent players in the NHL (Daniel has only gone three games in a row without scoring and Henrik four games in a row this season) and are top 20 in scoring and people call them second liners. Also they have very respectable playoff numbers and find different ways to produce game after game even though they face the top shutdown players from each team.

If they were Canadian I bet people would think of them differently and treat them with the respect they deserve.You'd think that in Vancouver fans would be more intelligent and appreciate what the Sedins mean to the franchise. But last year everyone was jumping off the bandwagon and saying that the Sedins were done.

Daniel and Henrik are definitely two of the most unique players the NHL will ever see and I doubt we will see twins that have their talent ever again. We are so spoiled here in Vancouver to have them and it'll be so hard to replace what they do - on and off the ice.

Just found this on Twitter:

@Canucksforkids

Not sure what's cooler: the new stick Alex just got or the milestone puck Henrik just gave him from his 700th assist.

This part is so true.

The fact that people call Trevor the better captain compared to hank just baffles me. Their only and absolute reasoning is because hank isn't Canadian.

(edit: not that the rest of your post wasn't true... Just really wanted to point that part out)

Even when they don't score, it's pretty rare when there isn't some point in most games where they do something or make a pass that you just have to rewind the TV for because it just wasn't possible! People are spoiled by how good these guys have been and more people should really make an effort to truly appreciate them while they are here.

Not surprised at all. Two of the best to ever wear Canucks colours. The lack of respect they get starts at home with the fans that ridiculed them. Two of the toughest dudes in the league. They take the abuse and make teams pay on the scoreboard.
