Someone requested a better-formated version of this series thread so I borrowed VC's template. Should the Islanders gain home-ice advantage, I'll change the seeding.

Also, since I know VC will read this thread and probably create the rest of the series threads, icethetics.co/nhl-2014/ has new and updated team logo icons like the ones I posted. When you see the jersey templates for each team, just click on one and you'll be taken to the individual team page which has jersey logos like these. Copying the image without actually opening it and then pasting should give you an icon of this size.

All that said, who wins the series? My gut says Washington in 6.

Isles defence isn't great at shutting opponents down, so I think they'll have a tough time against Ovie and Backstrom.

Should be a fast paced exciting series. They're both 1 line teams, though the caps have much better defence and goaltending
