Underpaid - Yes. Best contract in the NHL no doubt.

Underrated - No. Everyone knows how good Tavares is.

Not true. His complete game is under valued. Maybe people are starting to get it now. He was thought of as a one dimensional player, put up points and thats it. The guy is an all around player and leader.

Take a poll of the best players in the NHL, I doubt he wins. Probably doesnt even make top 10. Still say he's under rated.

Ok that's definitely not true lol. He'd definitely make top 10, even top 5. It's hard to be first when Crosby is alreadg considered the best player.

He'd make my top 5:

Crosby, Toews, Tavares, Stamkos, Ovi
