Seriously?! That's not worth a game 7 win...

That powerplay at the end was also incredibly ineffective. I thought Halak should have been pulled earlier in the PP as well, but maybe it wouldn't have made a difference in the end... No one will know now.

He scores all his goals the same way, from the same spot. He is inconsistent in his scoring. He doesn't pass well. He doesn't try defensively and sucks when he does.

He's a one trick pony.

I never said he wasn't skilled, but he's still overrated.

And remember, a player can be overrated no matter how good his stats are. The stat you posted could be used for a different argument.

I'm a Canucks fan. I just happen to dislike the Capitals, so I'm downplaying their victory which wasn't impressive at all IMO.

You obviously haven't watched him much this year because his defensive game has improved greatly. Also if he scoring from the same place all the time why does no one stop him? Because it's impossible.

Look at his playoff stats they have been solid throughout his career.

I was a bit baffled that it didn't happen as well. I expected them to establish possession and bring Halak to the bench then.

They had generated pretty much nothing up to that point, so it seemed to make sense.

In any event, it was clear to me that the Caps were the better team last night. Only Jaro kept that game interesting up until the final buzzer.
