Beary Sweet
Bennett gets his 1st NHL point of his career. Kudos to him. Looking forward to seeing him flourish as a top 6 forward, possibly a superstar
CaptainKool
Interesting. More concerned about keeping guys healthy that home ice advantage, I guess? Maybe because they are pretty sure that the Canucks will win against the Oilers, so they believe it is not worth to try.

It's possible, but I doubt it. They just saw Edmonton beat a desperate Kings team.
Jiggs50
That would suit me just fine. I'd like nothing better than to go into the playoffs with Hiller doubting himself.I think Ortio is in net

AAlso maybe they know rogers arena has a horrible atmosphere and it's home ice disadvantage for Vancouver lol. I'll do my best for the 3rd home game, but I know I'll just get weird looks from stuck up POS people in the crowd.
Jaimito
Battle of the backups. More curious to see where minny plays. Vs dux or blues in first round.
Beary Sweet
A weakness of the flames that I notice is that when their in the o zone they easily lose control of the puck unless that somebody is hudler, monahan, gaudreau so I hope the Canucks attack that part of their game just like what the jets are doing this afternoon. CALGARY!
Hope the jets bang them up! =) Tough to bang them up when half the roster is playing, its basically Adirondack vs the Jets.

420since1974
Backlund blocked a shot with the back of his calf muscle. Should be a hell of a bruise, but not enough to sit him. 1 - 1 after two periods, the Canucks may be able to take the Oilers game off, if Calgary doesn't win. Guest Dasein
Interesting. More concerned about keeping guys healthy that home ice advantage, I guess? Their team blocks a ton of shots, so yes getting healthy is probably their #1 priority
420since1974
Calgary blocked 1545 shots this season prior to today's game (just over 19 per game). They allowed 2,359 shots on goal (29 per game). Basically, they block 2 out of every 5 shots directed on their goal.

BCNeil
I know Calgary isn't playing their full squad today, but Jets look good. I have watched a lot of their games the last few weeks. They are going to give the Ducks a big surprise. Ducks have had first locked up all year, they aren't in playoff mood.
420since1974
I always cheer for whichever Western Canadian team that goes farthest in the play-offs. It's too bad that Edmonton is being held back by incompetent management.
