SvenBae
News: Kassian (back) resumed skating on his own last Friday. (Mon Apr 13) Spin: The winger has yet to receive clearance to practice with the rest of the team, which will prevent him from being unavailable for the start of the Canucks' first-round series with the Flames. Coach Willie Desjardins would likely be loath to make any lineup changes if the Canucks play well in the early stages of the playoffs, so Kassian may have a tough time cracking the forward ranks once he's back at full health. http://espn.go.com/nhl/player/_/id/5194/zack-kassian So he's available? Nino
Sedin-Sedin-Kassian Burrows-Bonino-Vrbata Higgins-Horvat-Hansen Matthias-Richardson-Dorsett Not bad at all. The way burr has brought life back to the twins it would be insane to take him off the line. Be great to see him with Richardson and Mathis, they played great at times this year and the more waves you toss at them the better. I think unless we are getting manhandled by the flames (and I don't see it happening) he should sit till the second round and get himself 100% and ready for the second line when we're playing a team we need more toughness for..... If he decides to bring toughness to the table that is.

oldnews
Have heard several rumors that Zack has been in a treatment facility. Know for a fact he had a couple of stints in rehab while in Buffalo. If true, wish him all the best in his recovery. Was skeptical at first, but there's no chance a player disappears as he has during this time of year. Bad back or not. Look forward to seeing Zack back on the ice soon when healthy enough to be the impact player he is capable of. Looks like Totes McTroll is back and in usual bottomfeeding form. Desjardins said injured forwards Brad Richardson and winger Zack Kassian have been skating, but he would not speculate on their availability for the playoffs.
