The core is the main problem with this team and until that is fixed, we're not going to win,no matter how good (or bad-according to some) Willie may be. Willie has done good so far. Then we go and get a REAL coach? What's next? we actually get a real D core and a real goalie? But i'm a Canucks fan so, eff em. The future for the pacific canadian teams are crazy. A year ago, maybe, but Told hasn't accomplished anything either and he had a much better team than Willie does. We need to bring in a few more pieces. Did I miss something ? is there something wrong with WD ? or his team is losing so let's pile on him too ? any coach is going to be questioned about certain lineups etc, so he should be fired now then ? When they fired Vigneault I was behind that decision (Albeit Tortorella was a horrible replacement and over-all that looks like it was a big mistake). At this point the fault rests with the players, our core guys aren't getting it done and it's them who need to pay the price. At least SJ has some legit young talent to work with at the moment. Most of ours are a few years away. Willie's done a fine job, and if he can continue to prove that he can develop our young talent and succeed that's good news for us. Not every decision he makes the fans will agree with but he's been right more times then wrong. People complained about AV chewing his gum and not mixing up lines when things were obviously werent going right or that the team would sit on leads far too often.
