Is there a boner in your life? Tell me about it...

I am in the veterinary field. Lets just say the crap people try to pull because they don't want to pay their bill is mind numbing!

Try going to the grocery store and asking for free milk and bread because you paid for it last week lol....then flip out when told NO.

Quit asking for freebies....quit complaining when you want prescription items but are declined because you refuse to have your pet examined.

Don't whine and complain about prices or dare tell anyone in our office that we dont care because you decided to have 6 cats all needing to be fixed but didnt stop and think if you could financially handle the responsibily.

Veterinary medicine is expensive, it is cheaper then human medicine but there is no " health care " only insurance options that dont always work in peoples favor. Please stop for a minute and really think about if that cute puppy or kitten you want soooo bad is financially something you can handle. Call around and ask questions, get an idea of costs.

A person is not entitled to have pets its a privledge that can be very expensive and require much responsibilty.

I have a few.....

1. Why do people feel the need to race/push onto the skytrain before I even get off? Its rude and uncalled for. Just wait two seconds for the people on the train to get off. It's not that hard people. Furthermore running into me and screaming at me to move is just going get you a dirty look. I am not going move faster.

2. I am a nanny and sometimes bring strollers onto the bus, deal with it! Seriously the next young punk kid who makes annoying remarks about having to move out of the front seats for the stroller need to shut the hell up. On this note the front seats are also for people with disabilities and the elderly so show some respect and move when 'granny' comes onto the bus.

3. 'Homeless' people especially near commercial drive in Vancouver you are NOT entitled to a handout. I do not need to give you money. Approaching me when I am working with three young children and calling me a whore isn't going to make me give you money. Furthermore making rude comments about the amount of children is going get you a frown and told off. If you are lucky I might flick a penny at you.

In regards to number 3, you might have run into a few bad apples. Again the giving of money is entirely up to you, but I was raised that you do to others what you would want others to do to you. Imagine if you were in a situation like that would you want people to give you a hand?

If people are polite and nice. If they don't act like I 'owe' them anything then I will give them food or buy them a coffee or something. I never ever give money. I often do this once or twice a month (as I am poor) to try and spread good cheer.

So I am sorry it's not about putting myself in their shoes, it's about a certain demographic (usually older men) who feel they can bully me into forking over money. This is not acceptable.

It's one thing to be yelled and sworn at and called names when I am on my own but when I am with three very young (2-4 year olds)children to be bullied in that way, I refuse to give them a damn thing. If that makes me a bad person, so be it, I am sorry if I lack human compassion in anyone's eyes but you try telling a crying child it's okay when some screaming guy is chasing you demanding money!

Albertan pick up truck drivers. Oh my Lord I've been nearly hit in my little Lexus about 5 times now in the last week and a half from truck drivers who act like they own the road. I had a green arrow in a 2 lane turn intersection, I turned into the middle lane, and some ass in a white pick up turned right at the same time and tried barging into my lane. I was extremely lucky there was nobody in the left lane, cause if there was, he would've side swipped me. He just didn't give a crap. Barged right in even though I was there. He saw me too, and flipped me off as he did it.

TIm Hortons...go in for lunch and theres no available seats because they are all taken by soccer moms or the unemployable who have been there nursing a coffee for 3 hours. It also bugs me that they put on a marketing campaign to tell us they were a Canadian icon and we bought it. Its just a slightly below average donut shop. The only reason I want to go there is because its there or a McDonalds if I want lunch a quick walking distance from work.

Their sandwiches are gross. Can barely chew the bread.
