laxgoalie
I realized part way through doing this that Nashville has to basically resign every forward, so flash forward to early next season. Also I based this off of the Nash trade. After a disappointing playoffs: To NSH: Malkin 3rd 2016 To PIT: Fisher Smith Ellis 1st 2016 NSH Lines: Neal - Malkin - Forsberg Wilson - Ribero - Moses Watson - Jarnkrok - Stalberg I'm guessing they wont resign Cullen. Nystrom - Gaustad - Sissons/ Beck Josi - Weber Ekholm - Jones Bartley - Alm (?) Rinne Hutton PIT Lines: Kunitz - Crosby - Hornqvist Perron - Fisher - Smith Comeau - Sutter - Dupuis Spaling - Lapierre - Bennet/ Winnik Maatta - Letang Pouliot - Ellis Dumolin - Cole Fleury Greiss Say if NSH were to add a 2nd (2017) would Pittsburgh consider adding Bennet it? Piggy Bank
Pitssburgh would get one if Josi or Jones in the trade.
AriGold
Pitssburgh would get one if Josi or Jones in the trade. Was just going to post this.. PITT would want Josi without question, if Josi isn't on the table I would move on.
canucklehead44
Fisher is a UFA, no? Josi and Wilson/Smith would start the discussion. Boosts Pittsburgh defense, gives them a guy to plug the top 6 hole, but Nashville still comes way out on top. Late first rounders aren't worth much - it is hard to gauge. They might try to pry Forsberg, but for a low income team like Nashville they are better of building around 2 or 3 good players vs a superstar. c00kies
Malkin>>Nash. Also, Fisher and Smith are not nearly as good as Dubinsky and Anisimov.

Qwags
One thing's for certain, whoever gets Malkin will have to pay a hefty price.
Threadsetter
Josi, Smith and 2016 1st for Malkin may get it done. Could see them giving up more.
mll
Josi, Smith and 2016 1st for Malkin may get it done. Could see them giving up more. For info, GM Poile recently said something like: "There is no one I would trade Josi (or Weber) for. They are that good". See the Tennessean of a few days back for the exact quote. GM Rutherford has also confirmed that the Penguins will be keeping both Crosby and Malkin.
