JeremyCuddles
The fact Daigle didn't go first overall disappoints me. No way Buffalo passes on him.

Baer.
If we're talking careers, Modano. Greatest player on that list besides Crosby. IMHO Ekblad and McDavid and MacK shouldn't be there. Too early.
Goatbeards48
I think I would still take the gamble with Lindros

apollo
1999 Stefan. Just kidding... The real #1s in that draft, arguably greatest athletes of all time. Daniel and Henrik Sedin!
zverta
Connor McDavid. I'm a futures kind of guy, and potential like that is just too good to pass on. Kane is great, but who's he going to play with. Himself?
zverta
Assuming we're picking a player to start the franchise. Always pick a center
greetingsfrombrazil
Tough to pass on Lindros and Modano, but went with Ovi. Guy's an absolute beast, still has many years of success and perhaps some Stanley Cups ahead of him.
Phil_314
Tough to pass on Lindros and Modano, but went with Ovi. Guy's an absolute beast, still has many years of success and perhaps some Stanley Cups ahead of him. CupS? Don't see him getting by teams built like the Rangers, with their shot-blocking and stud goalie. His game has gotten better since he's been driving to the net and shooting pretty frequently but he'll still be in tough against teams with systems and the big, rugged style of western conference teams, who'll surely play him tight and focus on stopping his blasts. For someone whose success comes primarily from shooting (he's an elite shooter, I'd give him that) it'd still be tough for him to win in the team-oriented, 200-ft., all-round style of the NHL. Not picking on your comment but he's not someone that a team on this side of the pond can build a champion team around, and if I'm trying to build a contender I'd go for someone else. King Heffy
Lindros. Then trade for the same package Philly gave up for him.
