Dusty_Undies
With Jacob Markstrom either moving up to the NHL as the Canucks new back up or being traded next season, What do u guys and girls think about the possibility of the Canucks organization going after Malcolm Subban? Jim Benning must have had some input into drafting this guy and the Comets are likely in desperate need of a starter next season, (know offense to Joacim Eriksson). We know this because of the Canucks recent efforts to sign Matt O'Conner which as you all know fell through. If not Malcolm Subban than who would be another likely candidate for the Canucks to go after for the starting position for the Comets next season? Happy Offseason, Dusty_Undies ZERO chance we get him. Bostons backup Svedberg, is going back to Sweden next year so Subban is going to be there backup. Dusty_Undies
There's a ton of backup options out there. I'm sure Boston can get creative in the free agent market.

-AJ-
We have a logjam of goalies, not that much of a reason to go for him.
BI3KSA-
Would be a waste of resources going after a likely expensive goalie when we already have a bunch of them. Thats the one position we dont need to be actively spending resources upgrading in.

Guest
If it's as a precursor to going after PK, I'm all for it. Hockey needs brothers to play together, as Jordan/Eric/Jared do. Marc Staal is a real biatch.

Also this is not speculation, AND quite honestly a horrible proposal as it were since we already have so many goalies in the system.
