D-Money
Arizona probably plans to tank for one more year, and hopefully land 1st overall to get top-rated local kid Austin Matthews. I imagine they'll build up enough young assets so that, even if they don't win the lottery, they'll have enough to trade up. He's not quite McDavid or Eichel level, so it wouldn't be out of the question.

tyhee
TO ARZ Jensen McCann/Cassels Hamhuis 1stTO VAN 1ST (Hanifin) You have to lose something to get something. If i put Gaunce there u would rip me apart lol I think you get ripped anyway. That's an awful lot to pay for one prospect not named McEichel. You've got a 1st round pick, a d-man who just came off a good WC and a very good forward prospect leaving and only one piece coming back. If Hanifin doesn't pan out the trade is truly terrible, virtually a disaster, setting the retool back an extra season. Yes, if Hanifin reaches his potential the move looks fine. I don't like the risk inherent in putting that many eggs in one basket.

The only 2 big peices are McCann/Cassels and the 1st Hamhuis is getting old but still has trade value And Jensen needs a change of scenery I honestly believe this is a great trade for both teams needs
