Bill Sikes Posted May 23, 2015 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Uhhhh, no he wasn't. O'reilly, Cashman, Doak, Schmautz, were a bit tougher than Orr. Most skilled by far, not even close in the tough dept. ubcanuck Posted May 24, 2015 Share Posted May 24, 2015 Schmautz was just an animal from what I've heard Schmaltz was far from an animal. Not even a tough middle weight. I bet he wasn't 160 pounds. Got,to see him a lot in the 70's. He was always willing to go but many of his fights had few punches thrown and they just danced. I think I'd rather have Smith, when Hextall went looney toons it have a negative effect on his play, Smith could hurt you and still shut you out.
