thejazz97
If he's looking for character players, it makes me think he's got an eye on Harkins. Which, him being a C, I'm not terribly happy about. Are there any character D-men? Roy or Meloche or Andersson or Aho? It also sounds like they've given up on Provorov. If all these prospects are expected to challenge for spots, we could see a lot of movement in the offseason.
Scorvat
I love what benning has done with our prospect pool. Before he arrived Jensen Horvat and Shinkaruk were the only real hopfuls. Since then Cassels has really grown on us as well as grenier. Gillis provides us with Horvat Shinkaruk Jensen Grenier Cassels Subban Corrado Weber Gaunce Not too bad but he had how many years? Benning gave us. Virtanen McCann Baertschi Vey Clendenning Demko Tryamkin Pedan Plus he is actually making moves to improve Utica. Which may land them the Calder Cup!!! So that will help develope all these young guys into a winning environment. All this in 1 year!!! Just imagine 2-3 more years!!! In Benning we trust
RonMexico
It also sounds like they've given up on Provorov. Just because he doesn't mention specific un-drafted players doesn't mean they aren't interested in them. Not sure what gave you this impression. Not sure what gave you this impression. He said he's excited about who's going to be available at 23. Unless they find a team who's willing to take a bunch of secondary scorers, older defensemen, and backup goalies, they're not going to get a top 7 pick w/o that 1st. desiboynux4lifee*******
Markstorm against the powerhouse Machester, will show us what he really is. Utica plays a much better defensive system then the Canucks'. Also, Lack shouldn't be the guy traded, it should be old man Miller. Oh well moving along. Fanaholic
Maybe Lack will be traded but it is Miller that never should have come in the first place.

TOMapleLaughs
-Markstrom's had a excellent playoffs, noted that his mental toughness has increase - Hopefully better than his showing against SJ -Lots of teams looking for goalies, think's Lack would be ahead of a lot of those guys - So, Lack to Edmonton? -Looking for character players - Heard this about Coho. However, nailed it with Virtanen, so not concerned. -Grenier has had a good playoffs, want to see him in training camp, thinks he could steal a spot - That would come at the cost of Kassian, or Burrows. -Gaunce, Shinaruk, Clendening, Corrado all mentioned (No JENSEN) when talking about players who have progessed - Because Jensen cannot score, presumably. -Baertschi, Virtanen is expected to challenage for a spot - Bartshchi will be outright handed one. -Been in contact with Matthias and Richardson agents - Why? Unless he clears Miller or somebody they're gone. -Mangement team is going to sit down this week and talk about the future of the team - Chychrun Not sure how Kylington being poor character now is quantified, but if we're getting Chychrun instead, yay. Let's pick up Rasmus Andersson instead with the 23rd.

TOMapleLaughs
This been discussed in the draft thread, along with a video. Are you referring to the sportsnet link? It's too bad about Jensen. Hasn't really been the same since his concussion for starters, however I do think he will end up being a decent player. Just reminds me of Grabner and to a lesser extent, Rodin, how we went for a pure offensive star longshot when he wasn't quite at that level. It looks like Benning wants some more elements than just pure, non-star offense among his players, and that's a good thing.
