[TBT GDT] Blackhawks vs Canucks | 4/26/2011 | Game 7

I got goosebumps scrolling through the GDT and then the final pic.

Without a doubt the best sporting event I've ever witnessed.

Hawks suck. That series should have been a 4 game Sweep but the old boys club and refs stepped in to make sure they fix the games.

They even blatantly tried fixing game 7... But Vancouver was far too elite for those sad, pathetic, disgusting blacks hawks.

Great night:

I'd kill to have another one of those nights again... The closest we've gotten to one since 2011 was this year's game 2 or game 5 win. Game 2 was pretty rowdy in the city. Unfortunately the city was riddled with clagary rednecks

The 2011 Canucks were the most dominant and exciting team in Nucks history. This was the first time EVER that I could watch every game and know that they would win consistently (fan since 1986). Usually we would be up 2-0 by the 2nd period, Sedins worked their one of a kind magic...This team was truly a treat to watch, its too bad the refs and the NHL let the bruins get away with murder time and time again, and they still pushed it to 7 with all their injuries and lame refereeing.

This Chicago game in particular was the watershed moment. To be the best you gotta beat the best, soon as it happened I knew we would make the finals that year. Great memories, thank you Sedins, Kesler, Burrows, Juice.

Couldn't have put it any better myself!

Great post! My favourite memories come from this season... Watching the Canucks night in and night out dominate every other team in the league. It was a magical year. This game was one of the greatest games in NHL history. Two bitter rivals, one the cup champ, the other the regular season champ, clashing and battling it out for the third straight season. Burying our memories of defeat against the Hawks, Burrows starting the greatest run in Canucks history. *Sigh* All the memories just keep rushing back.
