Miltt
A lot of whack proposals out there with too many pieces thrown around to get the #3 overall out of Arizona. Seems obvious that AGAIN this is something JB is in the middle of but let's make a good proposal. Simplify, and be realistic. Like this proposal: To Vancouver: #3 overall, draft Noah To Arizona: #23 overall, Gaunce, 2016 1st It would suck to give up Gaunce, especially as he is close to being an NHLer, and once he is there within 2-3 years will be a solid second/third line centre but you gotta give to get. Getting Hanifin could be that stud defence-man that all the winning teams have, and we simy do not have. A cause for concern here is if we tank next year and that 1st is a top 5, but I don't think Canuck ownership will allow Benning to do that... flickyoursedin
It would cost the two 1rst round picks Shink and Lack at the very least. In saying that I'd still probably do that.
Warhippy
Ok Milt How does that get the 3rd overall ? Edm. Car. Buf. All call and offer better proposals without flinching.

Pears
Well Warhippie let's see their better offers. We have a good one now that helps both teams... Edmonton: Yakupov, 16th overall+ or Draisaitl, 16th overall+ Buffalo: Ennis/Reinhart, Pysyk, Armia, 21st overall, 32nd overall Not too sure about Carolina but Edmonton and Buffalo destroy anything we have to offer not named Virtanen, Horvat, or Tanev. Warhippy
Well Warhippie let's see their better offers. We have a good one now that helps both teams...Carolina. 1st this year nestrasil. Toronto. 1st this year Kessel 25 ish % retained salary. Buffalo two 1st this year + prospect or mid 1st good prospect. Edmonton 16th and any one of their young forwards. Jersey Larsson or Gelinas and a 1st. And that immediately removes us from the conversation.
48MPHSlapShot
To Arizona Virtanen, 2015 1st (23rd), 2016 1st To Vancouver 2015 1st (3rd overall)

Crabcakes
JB has said that moving up in the draft is not likely. I'm not going to pee my pants if they end up with the 23rd pick.
Miltt
Some of the packages proposed are better than the Canucks offer but that doesn't mean they will happen. Arizona fleeces them and that's why those teams wouldn't make those trades. Needs to be balance. We are not talking about McEichel picks anyway, but a damn good one nonetheless... Bobby_Lu1ngo
To Arizona Virtanen, 2015 1st (23rd), 2016 1st To Vancouver 2015 1st (3rd overall) Virtanen was a 6th overall pick with a wjc gold medal. You dont need to add 2 more 1sts to go up to 3. Nor would it be smart to.
