thejazz97
Congratulations to Patrick Kane on being rated the 7th best 1st overall pick in recent history! It gets a little tougher now. McDavid, Tavares, and Thornton were all close votes last time. Will one of them take it? Or will someone new surprise? Tom Sestito
Thornton, McDavid, and Tavares are definitely the deserving next three.

-AJ-
Thornton. Get over your hate, people. Yes, he's a terrible leader, but he's had an incredible career.
Phil_314
Yeah, going with Jumbo Joe. Don't know enough about the old guys (Murphy, Nolan, etc.) to sway my vote their way, and Joe's definitely higher ranked than some of the guys still playing (Fleury, Johnson, Phillips, Berard, to name a few). That being said, I'm curious as to how these votes will change once the elite young guns (Connor, Nate, Ekblad, R.N.H., even Hall and Tavares) are fully developed and in their prime. Connor could flip this list and I think Tavares and Ekblad could be special players in the near future.

Baer.
Just wanted to remind everybody Pierre Turgeon had 1,327 points in 1,294 games. His career also included a 58 goal, 132 point season in 92-93 which won him a Lady Byng. Thornton seems to be the consensus but he should be considered for the next spot.
