Sabres peaked in 1988 The Tanking for McDavid curse will consume your franchise Nah, they peaked in 1999. The tank won't be a curse. The Sabres are going to start tearing up the ice in a few years. J.I.A.H.N Posted June 19, 2015 Author Share Posted June 19, 2015 I actually thought that 3 years was a little fast myself, but since I knew I was reaching, I went for it! lol In saying that, we would have really expedited things a lot, and would have moved before everyone just either retired of left before our very eyes, leaving us with nothing to show from our departing veterans.......hey, I know it will be tough to support, but we are true believers of the Canucks and can stand the rebuild..... We will have set backs, but we will also be here for the emergence of a new core, which is really bloody exciting to me, and well worth watching...... 3 years no.......but it could start coming together in 5 or 6 years or we can take no control and just wish!
