Very happy to be atop of the Pacific after a slow start. We aren't satisfied yet though.

Wow, not at all what I thought the team would look like at the season`s start. Injury bug hitting hard, and it seems that this is our first big test. Team seems in a bit of a slide at the moment, but some serious `up play` from Lee Stempniak, Kris Versteeg, Leon Draisaitl and newcomer Nino Niedereitter have kept us competitive in tough times.

Seems the team is set on fighting for our spot, and that many players are eager to jump into the Sedin`s shoes. Has proven to be, and will continue to be, an exciting rebuild season!

At ten games between them, I`m happy so far. A little concerned, as both seem to be sliding into the `B` tandem spot, while I was hoping one would surge out to claim some starts. Certainly another component that adds to the current level of excitement in Boston.

SIGNING: The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Brian Flynn to a one year deal.

Brian Flynn: 1 year, $ 900k dollar contract ( $ 900,000.00 per season ).

Went looking for forwards in trades. And mwas too slow to pull the trigger on one deal.  But received other inquiries offering ECHL and rental D men for some of my best young players?

Then wouldn't you know it > a good roster forward from a good team was available!  The Oilers are very excited to welcome Brian Flynn!
