Man man ....I regret that I moved Berra ATM.

Well before the season startet there was a probably the Chance that Berra loses his Backup Job to pickard.

Further I thought that Lindback will get more Starts Kinda a 1b Goalie After Good Performances on a really Bad sabres Team and Smith was horrible last year.

Now Smith up and downs. ..but Lindback only with  2 games where got the start. He could easily outplay Smith imo. Maybe he will get more Starts in the near Future. ...

Fantasy hockey is do brutal sometimes. ..lol

Trading Berra was not a problem as he is only a back up on a non-playoff team and his play is temporary as he will not be stealing a starting job from Varlamov.

dont get memorized by a short flash of good play

If I get ambitious later I will try to put the code from the links post that keeps getting bumped into my cheat sheet offline template for the standings...had it working like that one year and then took them out for some reason...can't recall why....shouldn't take more than 30 mins of copy past work...other than that: wow Pacific Division. 278 points separate top from bottom there....well played.

I didn't know Strome was a goalie...:bigblush:

5.4 – Waivers

Any player that has exceeded the Waivers Exemption threshold is required to pass through waivers in order to be assigned to the minors after the start of the season.

Waivers Exemption Thresholds

23 years old or younger - 150 NHL game threshold (100 games for goaltenders)

24 years old or younger - 100 NHL game threshold (75 games for goaltenders)
26 years old or younger - 50 NHL game threshold (25 games for goaltenders)

my apologies! I hadn't read the waivers rules in some years..and either they changed or my memory is not as good as it used to be. Sorry for the confusion.

Mike Smith started the year with three wins a shut out and a GAA of .67, less than a month later he is back on track and is sporting a 7-5-1 record...I know smith stunk it up last year, but he is more or less back on form this year and more consistent than Anders overall. But that being said, I did and do still expect Lindback to get more starts as it seems after 4 games is when Smith tends to mess the bed.

The Columbus Blue Jackets would like to send John Gibson to Coney Island (waivers not required).

A trade is pending league approval and the vacant backup goalie spot will be filled with a incoming player.

Assignment: The Habs assign Joe Morrow to North Dakota (does not require waivers).

This transaction is to make room for a player acquired via trade who will go straight into the lineup.

Hmmmn; I wonder if any of these posts are related?

Interesting sub plots tonight and recently.

Matt Hunwick with a PP point tonight. That's only amusing to me. Toronto might even be relevant under their new coach? That's news!

Colorado (real life) with a potential threesome in its ''potential'' goalie controversies?

Cali teams, Anaheim still with the odd hiccup, scratching out points and have the best records in the division over the last 10 games. After odd starts for all.

Dallas, Montreal & the Rags class of the league YTD. I suppose everything is not upside down!

Jersey, cough, is in a play off position and ahead of Tampa 20 games in?

The world will correct itself.  Won't it?
