Couple thoughts coming out of Tampa, been pretty quiet for a while:
1. We would like to thank Brooks and Ron for their time in Tampa. Both came in at a time when our defensive depth was extremely thin and were provided with ample playing time/opportunity. With the development of some of our younger guys and the opportunity to gain some cap flexibility, we pulled the trigger on a deal that would bring in a top-6 forward we desperately needed.

2. We are pleased to welcome Jiri to our squad. While he's been slowed down by a groin injury of late, he provides fine top-6 production when healthy and comes at a reasonable cap hit for this season and the next.

3. Gustavsson/Johnson, while not getting as much playing time as I had hoped, are filling in admirably in Carey Price's absence. Jonas has a 2-0 record with a 1.00 goals against average in the 2 games he's played and Chad has a solid 11-12 record. We can't wait for our reigning MVP to come back after the All Star Break.

4. This fantasy season has had its ups and downs and I am please to remain in the playoff hunt despite losing Price to such a long-term injury. This season definitely has been about the old and the new for us in tampa, with Josi/Hedman carrying us on defense and newcomers Pavelski, Parayko, and Johnson providing solid contributions.

Updated Depth Chart

Pavelski - Hertl - Okposo

Hudler - Tavares - Strome

Grabner - Tierney - Clutterbuck

Clarkson - Desjardins - Brown

Clune

Josi - Hedman

Parayko - Seidenberg

De Haan - Tennyson

Johnson

Gustavsson

Alright, everyone... just so I can keep you all updated...

I now have full directions about how to update the cap sheets and am beginning to train my self on the system. Please bear with me as it's a fairly complicated procedure to learn from scratch but I am attempting to get everything updated asap starting today. Because of certain things falling through the cracks I have to go all the way back to some transactions from the 14th of November.

Here is what will happen now:

1) I will backdate all transactions posted in the thread and will tell you when/where I am up to at any given date. This may take some time. I will post a list of transactions completed up to that date.

2) Once we are up to date, and I am hoping to get this done fairly quickly as in a handful of days, I will ask for any transactions that were missed out.

3) When that is done I will ask everyone to update their current line-up so I can adjust your cap sheets accordingly.

I am aware that some teams did never have their 4th round picks added to their cap sheets so I will do that as I go through them. I ask that no one badger me about things until we are progressing. Until then please proceed as normal with all transaction postings.

Also, please keep in mind that although this has been an inconvenience to everyone that it is only because it has been so convenient in the past.

Cheers and thanks!

Minister. You are a champ. Can't thank you enough for stepping up to this heavy role, as you've always been such a strong contributor. Thank you.

The league should know that the exec crew really pulled together in this one (I've been distracted and busy), and it's been great to see in action. Thank you all as well!

'Also, please keep in mind that although this has been an inconvenience to everyone that it is only because it has been so convenient in the past.'

so bang on! Thanks to Curt, and I hope he makes it back to the thread soon. Miss his presence. He's literally written a manual to help get things going again... Thank you C2X!
