btw ... maybe it was missed in the thread

i asked regaring qualifying offers for RFA´s if i have multiple offers ...can i send them in one thread to a agent or

does every qualifying offer needs his own thread?

I'll let the agents answer this but I believe they would like separate PMs for negotiations. I'm guessing QO can be lumped together.

A few late announcements from Chicago now that GM Winter Soldier is finally approaching a healthy state again.

1. If possible, do not catch the norovirus! Nothing takes the edge off of life like bowel instability and rampant muscle fatigue! Always remember to employ best hygiene practices in your workplace and home to ensure you don't come down sick yourself. ^_^

2. To those in the playoffs; good luck! We're nearly a week into the playoffs and already it's been a pretty wild ride. As a rookie GM it's interesting to see the games within the games now as big moments can either make or break the aspirations of a CDCGML playoff run. I hope to be a part of it sooner rather than later.

3. Congratulations Artemi! The Blackhawks would like to congratulate our very own Artemi Panarin on his Calder Trophy winning season. We look forward to the things he will accomplish in a Blackhawks uniform for a long time.

4. Blackhawks are not for sale. Even with the aforementioned Panarin and the highest odds in the upcoming draft lottery, the Blackhawks do not have much interest in moving core pieces to stock up on more futures. We look forward to a busy offseason and an exciting draft but don't foresee much wheeling and dealing in the near future.

One roster note to take care of, as it was not reflected in the most recent update. (Everything else looks solid, tho.)

The Chicago Blackhawks would like to void the contract of Pascal Dupuis per his real life retirement earlier this season.

QUALIFYING OFFERS:

Please submit one offer per pm - each player should be dealt with as a separate negotiation, in the past, pm's containing multiple players have been missed so its just a cleaner way as well as better way to ensure your players are each dealt with. Yes this may be considered more time consuming ?

Also please submit a qualifying offer with the number the player is to be qualified at, last year we had several teams pm saying " we qualify player x " with no numbers presented.

Thank you

^and of course those qualifiers are 10% pay raises on base salary as per the rules on the first page of this thread (for the new GM's)

I wasn't going to do the standings today in the playoff race, except there were some dramatic shifts last night! New Jersey vaulted up nearly 60 points while Columbus jumped back into the fight against the Jets with almost 30 points last night!

The interesting side story I'm watching is how greensman would have faired against OTTS.

Right now he'd be making a series out of it with his Blues contingent, I think.

As someone with only sketchy understandings of QOs, can someone please explain when / why we make QOs? Can they be multiple years? What happens if the player rejects them? Basically the whole kit and caboodle, if anyone can spare the time

my understanding in CDCGML is qualifying offers are for 1 year term. Accepted or not that is the offers.

If the qualifying offer is rejected, a contract can be worked out in multiple years. Someone confirm this is correct ?

We can still negotiate a longer contract after issuing QO's though, correct? The QO's simply allow us to retain their rights, no?
