QUALIFYING OFFERS:

Please submit one offer per pm - each player should be dealt with as a separate negotiation, in the past, pm's containing multiple players have been missed so its just a cleaner way as well as better way to ensure your players are each dealt with. Yes this may be considered more time consuming ?

Also please submit a qualifying offer with the number the player is to be qualified at, last year we had several teams pm saying " we qualify player x " with no numbers presented.

Thank you

You want me to re-submit the PM I sent you last week then I take it?

He was a UFA anyway for y0shi.

Some trade deadline acquisitions don't work out.

This guy says hi

In all seriousness, we were hoping Hiller would give us some starter points to boost us into a playoff spot. It was moot as we got in without him and were planning on entering the playoffs with our great wall tandem of Hellberg/Gudlevskis anyways.

my understanding in CDCGML is qualifying offers are for 1 year term. Accepted or not that is the offers.

If the qualifying offer is rejected, a contract can be worked out in multiple years. Someone confirm this is correct ?

Yes.

The interesting side story I'm watching is how greensman would have faired against OTTS.

Right now he'd be making a series out of it with his Blues contingent, I think.

We're not playing too well yet and honestly quite worried about past this round.

No worries and to the other GM'S who have sent multiple offers in one pm it's fine just moving forward please separate each player per pm.

Thanks

Not apropos to our game but Chicago doesn't look right yet.

They better get it going or they will be done in one.

Yup. Although if Martinez comes back I'm just as invested if not more in the Kings as I am in the Hawks

They haven't looked right either.

I'd not be shocked, at this point, if both of those perennial powerhouses were out in the 1st round.

The West would be suddenly wide open for once.

Hence the lack of confidence on my part ATM

both have proven otherwise though so we shall see

My understanding is this:

You can try to sign your rfa to a deal

or

You can offer him a qualifying offer (minimum to maintain rights) which is a 1 year contract with the correct % raise

If you offer a player the QO, they can accept, then, or any time leading upto the season`s start. It is a real live offer.

At any time after the QO, but before its accepted by the player, the GM can offer a multi year deal, or change the salary sum.

Should the player not accept the qualifying offer, then the negotiation begins here as well.

Who was it who said "all it takes is one player to go mental and a playoff race is wide open"?

Andrew Shaw

But not condoning anything he may have said.
