y0shi
This kind of thing is fantastic! adds the reality flavour to our league...we can be friends while we play, but we had better play to beat our friends! haha. Congrats to Winterhawks on securing a big piece for his team going forward and joining me in the prestigious "successful offer sheet" club. Wilb
I am back... was at the Shea Weber/Cody Franson hockey school with my son and stepson in Sicamous. Got a bunch of stuff signed, the best part was seeing how excited the kids were to meet a superstar in Weber.

theminister
This is how I feel when GMs come to a Canuck's game without telling me. It wounds me.
canuck2xtreme
This is how I feel when GMs come to a Canuck's game without telling me. It wounds me. I would never commit such an egregious offence. I'm curious though, do you work every game? Or do you ever get to go to the game and just be a fan? canuck2xtreme
I may regret saying this, but... If you are awaiting a reply from me, please bump your conversation. Have things back up and running here and working sifting through everything that's been waiting, but I tend to start with the "New" page and work my way up from the bottom so I don't miss any offers. So if I've viewed it and not yet replied, you're not in the queue, so bump away! My apologies for the difficulties lately, and especially to those who may have missed out on players because they were signed before I was able to get your offer entered. Thanks everyone for their patience. It is greatly appreciated.

Or do you ever get to go to the game and just be a fan? I try to if it works for my schedule. Very rarely do I go as a fan. I think maybe twice in the last eight years. Same goes for the Giants. It's work and I'm ok with that. Why pass up money to do something I love? That's what away games are for. I've come to a later realization in life that I'm a rink rat. I'm going to have to try to make it to a game this year and be added to the list!

Same goes for the Giants. It's work and I'm ok with that. Why pass up money to do something I love? That's what away games are for. I've come to a later realization in life that I'm a rink rat. Makes sense. That was a reason that I have yet to really go after a position after I finished that hockey course last year. After learning a bit more about it, I wondered if it was really the path I wanted. I would have had to take a massive pay cut and yet be gone from home more often, which I'm not willing to do. My family is too important to me. But also, I didn't want to take something I love and have real passion for and turn it into work, something I stress over or worry about. Hockey is an escape for me sometimes, I don't want it to turn into why I need an escape.

I already knew greens and Ty Webb before the game. I've met c2x, da.moose, lethunder, Squeak, ThatMike, Romo, and Primal. I may be forgetting one. It's still a thing for me that Mike V and I have never met. I consider him one of my longest friends on CDC. That's got to happen one of these days.
