ruilin96
Saw Brock at the development camp today, and he does have a really wicked shot and a great personality too as he took the time to connect with the fans there!
thad
He's looking thick in the dev camp coverage. He'll be so NHL ready this time next year, it ain't even funny.

I think he'd make the team this year if he didn't decide to do college for 1 more year.
AlwaysACanuckFan
Well now, that sure looks like a blast! That kind of teamwork will help patch the team up! Edited July 7, 2016 by AlwaysACanuckFan

I don't mind it though. I'd rather let him grow a bit more and come in built like a Mack truck, ready to gun for the Calder. There's something about this kid. Him and Demko just have that extra poise to them. You see it in Juolevi, Hutton and Bo too. JB is under the radar compiling players with that champions pedigree and soon everyone is going to see what rebuild while staying competitive really means. Jims got a razor sharp eye for talent. Even if we're drafting in the bottom half of the round he's got the eye to pick out the Hidden gem.

Gaudette Celly
McCann had a great wrister... he just missed far more times than not. If he ever gets the accuracy down, watch out. That's something that Boeser and Virtanen already seem to have.

Odd.
Virtanen has a very hard shot. Often times he just winds the puck and it misses the net completely. Virt needs to get in on target more. He's got an NHL calibre shot though. Hutton has the worst shooting IMO on the team. Henrik has to come a close second, but damn Hutton is not good at shooting. Terrible clappers, and his wrist shots are weak from the point. Often times, he elects to shoot wrist shots from the point and it's usually blocked. It's good he's been working on his shot this summer. I love Hutton though as a player and as a person (one of my favourite players on the team) but damn his shots are baaad.

You didn't deserve that minus so I even that back up for you. Typical CDC. Someone has an honest and fair opinion about one of our players and people get mad. Hutton really doesn't have the greatest shot. He is a skinny little fella still. That will change. Tanev's stick is where goals go to die. The guy couldn't shoot a puck through a piece of paper. Not it everyone is good at everything. That is why you have 5 people on the ice with you. its ok to say that too

Hutton may have a limp shot but he got a lot of secondary assists from floating pucks in on net. He'll come around, that was his rookie year.

Usually positive towards the players, but sometimes as a fan you gotta offer some constructive criticism to your team. But yeah doesn't matter to me. And for the bolded, I think it was @Mathew Barzal who suggested Hansen should get PP time as he doesn't get enough quality time on it. Jannick Hansen had 20 goals at even strength, 1 PP goal and 1 SH goal. That is insanely good for someone who doesn't get a lot PP time. Hansen has an accurate, hard slapshot and we should be utilizing it on the PP up at the point somehow if Larsen doesn't crack the team. It is his rookie season after all, he'll get better and better. D.B Cooper
From everything I've seen about him since he was drafted, it seems he is the perfect sniper. He is very deliberate in his shots. He knows exactly where he wants to put it, and is a good enough shooter to do it. He seems to keep his head up at all times. Always looking for the right play, which for a guy like him is usually a shot, but he seems to know his way around making some great passes too. The future looks good with this kid let's hope we can get a great playmaker to feed that wicked shot. F'n Edmonton stealing poolparty. He would have been great.
