Can't stand the media when they do this. Give the kid a little breathing room. Hasn't even got to his dressing room before they speculate.

I see no need for him to play in the NHL this season. Not with the state the teams in.

Not sure his skating is at an NHL level yet either. No point hurting his confidence.

I have pretty much the same view. As I wrote earlier, if "playing in a winning environment" matters, this is not a good time for Boeser to join the Canucks. Also, I bet this wrist is still not 100%. Good enough to play but rest and rehab would probably help.

And of course burning off a year of his ELC is not a good move. (I know people will sometimes justify it by saying they come up for an RFA contract when they are cheaper. Agents understand the point and don't fall for it. At worst the player can take the qualifying offer and wait another year before asking for big money. But typically all that happens is that the big money starts earlier.

UND played well. BU got lucky. 99% of the time you more than double your opponents shot you win.

When will Boeser be teamed with Baertschi and Horvat?

Well, that all depends if Willie coaches next year #4thline #"Needstoworkonhisdefensivegame"

Burning a year off his ELC doesn't concern me in the slightest. If he wants to sign now, sign him, but if his wrist is sore that's way more important.

Unlike whack Canucks fans he's likely just focused on Juolevi, you know, his player.

Not to mention Juolevi has made many highlight reel passes, and a player shouldn't by hyped because of one play.

Best course of action is for Boeser to go to Utica & help them get into the playoffs & go for a run. they are about 3 or 4 points out & have a game or 2 in hand. Very possible. That way he gets more games, and possibly meaningful ones in the playoffs.

Basically how I feel about it. If we burn off a year of his ELC, and he ends up being due for a big raise in a couple years, then that likely means he's done pretty well for himself. Personally, I feel that getting a look at the NHL game via some sheltered minutes could be very good for him, and give him an idea of what he needs to work on during the offseason.

That being said, if his wrist is still bothering him, that changes things completely. Better to rest it if that's the case.

sign him to whatever he wants. If he'll go to Utica then that's perfect for him, but if he wants to jump to the NHL than that'll make the fans happy too

As as long as he doesn't return for another year at UD, I'll be happy.

theyll wanna showcase him to show some light at the end of the tunnel for the season ticket sales

These goofs have nothing better to talk about in this one horse town.
