CaptainLinden16
I am rethinking the Brett Hull comparison. I think he is more like Luc Robitaille. Boeser is a phenomenal shooter, but he is also tremendously lucky. He has had some real goofy goals this year. You create your own luck by getting shots through and on net frequently. Qwags
Since the All-Star break, Boeser has looked a lot like his rookie season. He carries the puck, finds space, and gets his shots off. 1

He was almost crying he was laughing so much, and trying to hide it, which made it worse lol It was very funny to see that, and great to see the lighter side of the game. 3

Popular Post -Vintage Canuck-
Brock Boeser on Sportsnet 650: “I don’t wash my hair a ton like people would think...” On playing with Pettersson: “We have really gained a lot of chemistry on the ice and I think that comes from a great friendship off the ice.” 9
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Brock's attention to detail in the game lately has been lacking. Mismanaging of the puck, some real questionable passes in all three zones, and overall his body language when engaging in battles. Often see him point Petey to go get loose pucks when literally he is two strides away from doing it himself. Needs to increase his compete level, I think most nights since the break, he has looked average, and its really the details in his game. Winning puck battles, making smart passes, and moving your feet in all 3 zones. Lots to like about his game, but still lots of areas that need work for the soon to be 22 year old. Going to be fun watching how his game matures from now and going forward. 2 2

BO_Scorvat
I love boeser but his game looks off right now, I agree with NAZZY on all his points. Unfortunately he just looks kinda lazy out there, hopefully it's not injury related and he's just in a bit of a sophomore slump 1
bree2
Horvat, 21 goals , 25 assists for 46 points in 62 games, Boeser, 21 goals , 20 assists for 41 points in 49 games, and you say he is lazy? give me a break. I guess Horvat is lazy too, along with a few others. bottom line is Boeser, Pettersson and Horvat should not be expected to score every night. we do have other players who need to step up. Horvat is a player who yes plays hard sometimes, but come on he is a big boy, nothing wrong with throwing a hit once in a while, even Pettersson does it, and sorry but Horvat needs to use his wingers once in a while . nothing wrong with how Boeser plays! teams double shift him and Pettersson every game. they get no help . I know he's putting up points but it's his play without the puck that is looking off, an example would be the overtime goal in the Arizona game, i just think plays like that are happening a little too often Just something I think he needs to work on
Canucks Curse
we need a stone or a Panarin and we need another good 2nd line winger and we need Hughes to pan out and be a great puck mover. we need deer, tanned to stay healthy and then we are a playoff team who could win a round or 2. would hate to see these guys have their years wasted without support cast, I have a feeling, seeing as these guys were pretty close to the playoffs even with devastating injuries, that Aquaman is gonna open the wallet and go big after a winger UFA and d man ugh. I bet erickssson gets bought out
Canucks Curse
stone or Panarin, throw huge money at them, huge! pavelski- why has he not resigned yet ? then one of Brock nelson, Anders lee, nyqist, skinner, Dzingel, ferland lots of wingers and we need
bree2
Bo_Scorvat, his overtime play in Arizona , he was out on the ice way too long, along with Pettersson, both were gassed, so I am not sure you can compare that. wouldn't you say most of the team needs to work o their play, even Pettersson who is awesome, but even he has been making mistakes lately. Scheifele is making 6.125 mil AND IS A BETTER PLAYER. Scheifele's contract is a very misleading comparable. It was signed in 2016 after Scheifele had his first breakout season, scoring 29 goals and 61 points in 71 games. Prior to that year, his career bests were 15 goals and 49 points. Boeser at this point is more proven than Scheifele was when he signed his contract. In addition, league salaries inflate over time and a contract in 2016 isn't directly comparable to a 2019 contract due to the ever-changing salary cap. 2
