Stix
http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/canucks-deal-lack-to-hurricanes-for-draft-picks/ CHRIS JOHNSTON JUNE 27, 2015, 8:45 AM SUNRISE, Fla. – Eddie Lack is on his way to Carolina as part of a shakeup in the Hurricanes crease. The Vancouver Canucks are sending the 27-year-old goaltender to the Hurricanes in exchange for a third-round pick in Saturday’s draft and a seventh-rounder next year, according to two sources. The Hurricanes currently have Cam Ward ($6.8-million) and Anton Khudobin ($2.5-million) under contract for 2015-16. The Swede is a cheaper option — he’s owed $1.3-million in the final year of his deal — and is believed to be the first step in a subsequent move for the Hurricanes. Lack matched a career-high with 41 appearances last season and compiled a .921 save percentage to go with a 18-13-4 record. The trade leaves Vancouver with goalies Ryan Miller and Jacob Markstrom on the roster for next season.

73 Percent
Third round. Why is talbot worth a first but Eddie only a third. What a sham. Will this team ever win a goddamn thing?
Saskatchewan Canucks Fan
Good luck Eddie. Unable to get a 2nd rounder but I imagine the management team would of left no stone unturned in trying. We can now move on and get excited for Markey and Miller
thejazz97
The price is worth it to be done with yet another goalie controversy. All the best, Eddie. You will be missed.

WestlockWarrior
Ib4 betting haters gather and claim we got fleeced !!! Sorry folks but that's the market for a 27yr old w. 1 yr left until UFA. Not Bennings fault. Of all cities we should know goalies market is terrible. Ps Carolinas pick is early 3rd. 66th I believe. Can get a decent prospect there. Ethan Bear, Filip AHL. , Blake Speers. AriGold
The heart of the canucks was only worth a 3rd and a 7th.. Benning couldn't suck up his pride and deal Ryan Miller... This team ... Ughhhh

Edlerberry
how would the best goalie in the AHL at 6'6 be worth less than this
Saskatchewan Canucks Fan
The management team must like what they see in Markstrom. Since Eddie having much more value doesn't seem to be the case
