SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Gaudette with 1G 1A by my count and NU crushing Mass 6-0.
48MPHSlapShot
1 goal and 1 assist is like a C+ on the Gaudette-O-meter.
Rob_Zepp
No idea if Adam Gaudette will win the HBaker or not but since they went to a slightly different system (seem to look at professional potential as much as college exploits) as of the 2013 vote, the past four winners have been: 2017 - Will Butcher 2016 - Jimmy Vesey 2015 - Jack Eichel 2014 - Johnny Gaudreau Would be pretty nice company to be in for a kid who was drafted so late. He’s gonna need to watch out for Max Véronneau. The Princeton RW (and free agent) has 11 points in his last 4 games and has moved into second place in NCAA scoring and within 6 points of Gaudette. Incidentally, the Canucks have been rumoured to be in on Véronneau as a possible free agent signing after the season.
Noble 6
I think Gaudette will be a good NHL player for us, but maybe we should tone down the expectations a little bit.

The difference being that Gaudette has a couple of seasons under his belt with similar numbers, while Motte really only had the one really good season. That's true, but nothing is certain until he does it in the NHL.

On the other hand, Motte, with 56 points in 2015-16, had the fewest points on his own line that season (Connor had 71 and Compher 63). This season, Gaudette has the most points in the entire NCAA. Motte averaged 0.98 points per game over his collegiate career. Gaudette has 1.23 points per game. 1 1

And didn’t realize I’d be part of a chorus of reaction to @Horvat is a Boss‘s post (which wasn’t my intention). I actually think I may have made the comparison myself (between Motte and Gaudette’s junior year totals) when the trade happened on deadline day. But I do see Gaudette as a cut above. My bad. Carry on I guess.

flickyoursedin
Pretty sweet design play with the guy in the middle making the goalie hesitate. You better believe this is Gaudette making some set plays with NU’s top guys after practice. This kids unreal!

Yeah, if you watch the postgame video, their coach talks about how Gaudette, Sikura, and Stevens have been staying late after practice and working on that exact play.
