Gstank29
Looks like Gaudette is playing on the first line. Benning's Nephew is really good as well.
Salmonberries
We don't have to tank to draft high. With a little help from our friends we can easily keep playing the way we have been for the rest of the season and still wind up with a top five pick. We'll have to stop picking up so many loser points and drop a few more of those close, hard fought games in regulation if we're to land in the five hole though. Gstank29
I was really impressed with him two weeks ago, he has a high hockey IQ and a even higher motor. Great pick Benning
Derp...
Rookie of the month for Hockey East with 12 points in 7 games For perspective, he needs 4 goals to pass Joe LaBate's career high in goals and points in a season during his NCAA career. Already has same points as he did as a rookie, and is averaging more points per game than Nick Schmaltz did as a rookie. 86Viking
he is noticeable out thier. Nice to see in his first year of college. This was the pick from the Diaz trade....so lets move weber and hope benning finds a gem with that pick. Gaudette needs to add some muscle to his frame. Now if a player is drafted from college can he sign and go play in the AHL before say a junior hockey player can at 20/

I think he'll spend a few years with North Eastern though, and it will be great for his development. I'm a huge fan of what Benning and company did last year with LaBate. He had decided to turn pro at the end of March, so he signed a PTO with the Comets. Canucks didn't actually sign him until deeper into the playoffs; LaBate had to earn his contract by practicing with the team and earning the coaches' trust.

Derp...
HF Ranking Spring 2016 15. (NR) Adam Gaudette, C, 6.0C Drafted 5th round, 149th overall, 2015 Adam Gaudette comes onto the list in the fifteenth spot due to his strong play as a rookie with Northeastern University. Gaudette finds himself among the team leaders in most statistical categories – third in goals and fifth in points – a remarkable feat for an 19-year-old playing against mostly men in their early twenties. Gaudette will continue to improve during his time with Northeastern and should earn himself an entry-level contract at some point. In Gaudette, the Canucks have a potential middle six forward, if he continues to work hard and evolve his two-way game.
