[Trade] Zac Rinaldo to Bruins

Recommended Posts

Love JB but the dude couldn't even get a 2nd for Lack?? And this tool is worth a 3rd?? Wow

:picard: Understand the market before you comment.

GMJB wanted 2nd's for Lack. Obviously no one offered it or agreed to it because we got a 3rd and a 7th.

Just because we valued Lack highly, doesn't mean other GM's does as well.

"I ****ing love this move! Rinaldo is a absolute pest...things are getting interresting! smiles.gif" - HFuser

At least one guy loves the signing lol. The way this dude talks, you can tell this user is a character guy in real life that you'd love to hang out, drink moonshine and make love with your cousins...

To all those who are complaining about the Lack trade.

Please realize that the Canucks' management probably tried to high-ball all the interested teams, and basically got burnt in the end and took the only deal left on the table to avoid any controversy.

Really? Because I wasn't aware that Glen "we've been offered a first and two seconds for Talbot" Sather was GM in Vancouver. Lack fetched what he's worth, not what CDC thinks he's worth. Thinking he's comparable to Lehner isn't right, it's mental sickness.

this is what happens when a GM makes trades just to make trades. If Benning listened to most our fanbase and started making trades all over we would be doing what boston is doing now.

Hope this wakes a few people up and lets them see what a GM who doesn't really know what he is doing trades for and drafts for. the bruins are falling hard right now, much happier relaxing with our players and taking better deals when they come

Sweeney is legit Mike Milbury.

Not overly thrilled with what Sweeney has done. He did receive a large return on Lucic, but then Hamilton's return was subpar at the least.

I don't think Rinaldo should even be in the NHL so that he was obtained for a 3rd rd pick is concerning, great pick up on Philly's part though.

Can't believe that people think players will always have higher market value because they are viewed as more talented.

Market for Lack: All teams aware that the Canucks need to get rid off one goalie, better goalies on the market and younger

Market for Rinaldo: Probably not on the trading block, valued by Philly, wanted by Boston.

Boston tipped the scale. If Philly wanted to get rid off Rinaldo he could have probably been had for a 5th rounder but the way to get him out of there was the pay over his market price.

Jesus, sometimes I feel like some of you don't understand how the NHL works.

Wow with the exception of that Hartnell trade Hextall has been amazing.

Rinaldo was an absolute headache as a Flyers fan. He was a complete burden always causing more issues than contributing with a head full of rocks lacking sportsmanship in how he conducted himself on and off the ice.

Giving him away for free or burying him in the minors would have made most Flyers fans happy. So a 3rd is a steal no matter what year it is.
