BI3KSA-
If we could sign Franson for no more than 5.5 for 4 years thatd be cool. He's the right age for it to not be terrible to sign him for a while. Obviously a true PMD would be better but I dont see any on the market off the top of my domeski that wouldnt be a terrible signing.
steviewonder20
Brad Richardson can be signed now If cheap, he's probably our best 4th line center option. We need someone big on D that can use his body (Matt Irwin?), not an expensive UFA (Franson).
Shift-4
Hopefully no one. I see a whole lot of junk out there. Lots of players will be getting overpaid.
GreyHatnDart
The ONLY move I want to see is cheap depth on our defence. That's it. Matt Irwin to me makes the most sense. 2 or even 3 year term at ~3.75m still allows us some breathing space, adds size to our blue line, and he has the ability to put up decent points (50P in 153GP). This is the age group (24-28) that our team is sorely lacking, and anybody we can add to that would make me happy. Would also allow us to possibly move Hamhuis at the TD for a big pick next year without handcuffing our defence.
onesmallleap
if we can get Frolik and Franson we will have had a great day...Go Canucks Go!!
GB5
The two rookie d-men can't be just handed roster spots. The team needs at least a depth 6/7 d-man to play 40ish games and push these guys for playing time.
