Carlutch98
2016 Draft Recap: Round 1 (1-10) 1. Calgary - Salman Kane: Future 1st line C who has alot of grit to his game. He is 5'9 but plays like he's 6'5 really battles in the corners. He doesnt play to get points he plays to win hockey games. A great pick for Calgary, they make there center core much stronger and also add more leadership too a young group. 2. Columbus - Cole Samson: Future top 2 d-man who is huge standing at 6'6. A very physical player who uses his size to his advantage. A great pick for Columbus, Samson will be a key piece to there future and will probably step right into the team. 3. Winnipeg - Vladimir Bure: Future 1st Line RW who knows how to score just like his father. Bure knows where to be on the ice in the offensive zone to put the puck in the net. Great pick for Winnipeg who needs a true goal scorer like bure on there team. 4. L.A - Victor Trana: Future 1st Line RW who plays great hockey at both sides of the ice his offensive abilites are just as good as his defence abilites. A true all round winger that every team needs. Great pick for L.A Trana is very low maintainence and could potentially step into the line-up as early as next season. 5. New Jersey - Erich Rhoemer: Future 1st/2nd Line C who has great offensive skills. His passing and offensive awareness is top notch. Only thing that could make him 2nd line is his lack of speed, but if he gets faster and uses his 6'3 size to his advantage he could be a true 1st C. Solid pick for New jersey as this kid really makes the center core deeper. 6. Colorado - John Garchomp: Future top 2 d-man who is an amazing skater with some great offensive skill, his awareness on the ice is amazing he sees the ice perfectly. Garchomp can make a great first breakout pass which alot of teams need. Has top-end offensive skill only problem with john is his small mass and is scared to go into corners and battle for the puck. But if he puts on some mass, plays with more grit to his game u can see this kid to be a Elite d-man. Great pick for Colorado and will probably be in the league by 2-3 years. 7. Montreal - D'Marcus Williums: Future Elite G he has all the skills to become and elite goalie. He is 6'3 and really agile in the net, can go post 2 post very quickly and his angles and rebound control are great. Only problem with him is his mental state, he doesn't have alot of patience and doesn't like riding the pine or playing in the AHL. If he can have some patience and learn how the game is played at a higher level, he could potentially be an Elite Goalie in the NHL. Okay pick for Montreal seeing that they already have an Elite Goalie in Carey Price so im not too sure how that's gonna work out. 8. Minnesota - Elijak Rhukas: Future 2nd Line C who is huge standing at 6'5 230 pounds. He is a big presence infront of the net and in the corners. Plays an old-school style of hockey who always takes one for the boys. A true team player he has good skills but nothing really stands out more than his size which he uses very well. Good pick for Minnesota seeing that he will bring a big presence to there team who could step into the lineup as early as this season. 9. Boston - Ninoslav Stjepanic: Future top 4 d-man who is a big guy standing at 6'4 and 237 he is a shutdown defence man who has strong defensive awareness. He reads plays very well and greats his stick in the passing lanes, also he uses his size to his advantage when pushes players off the puck. Doesn't have any offensive skills other than his huge Slapshot which would be good to set him up on the PP. Good pick for Boston who can step into the lineup right away. 10. Montreal - Patrick Novotny: Future 1st/2nd Line LW who knows who to put the puck in the net, a true goalscorer . His amazing wristshot blows by goalies all day. He knows where to be on the ice to set himself up for a goal. Also a very smart player wont put himself in stupid postions to get himself hurt he reads plays very well and his defence isn't half bad. Great pick for Montreal who could step into there lineup this season but should spend at least a year in the AHL. Let me know is u like this and ill try to get 11-20 out tmrw
BM24
Alex Killorn - Steven Stamkos - Jordan Eberle Jonathan Drouin - Tyler Johnson - Nikita Kucherov Ondrej Palat - Cedric Paquette - Michael Frolik Matt Calvert - Victor Rask - JT Brown Martin Havlat Tuomo Ruutu Victor Hedman - Matt Carle Anton Stralman - Jason Demers Nikita Nesterov - Mark Barberio Anthony DeAngelo Andrej Sustr Ben Bishop Josh Harding Sad to trade Matthias, as he was vital in a Cup win, but have to shed cap space. Also allows Cedric Paquette to take on a bigger role from last season, and inserts Victor Rask into the lineup.

Patrick Kane
San Jose looking good, might make a deal for a top defenseman, otherwise: Hartnell - Pavelski - Hertl Marleau - Couture - Nieto Prust - Backlund - Wingels Torres - ______ - Jooris Enstrom - Braun Vlasic - Garrison Dillon - Mueller Jones Stalock Pretty comfortable up-front, we'll see if Nieto can step his game up, otherwise Wingels can go right back up into the top 6. Tierney and Goldobin will spend the year in the AHL, no business playing in the NHL in 4th line roles. Garrison solidifies defense, quite content with it. Goaltending isn't the best, but only so much can be done.
