Vey and Jensen are young and can both slot in right away and would also fare much better in the East. We don't have much room in our lineup for either young forward and have much better forward prospects. We get that potential top pairing, pp qb that we need. He's not proven yet and had an injury last season so his value shouldn't be too high.... but he would be far and away our best defense prospect. Vey can still be a top 6 center and Jensen can still be a middle 6 scorer. The chances of that happening are much higher if they're in the east. The Penguins have let all their UFA defencemen go, they're relying on their young kids to step up on defence. He is basically their best prospect now that Matta is a genuine roster player. Also, if Jensen's value is that low for us right now with everyone including our GM excluding him from future plans ...
