I'll start from the beginning when he player departed or got traded

Christian Ehroff- best powerplay quarter back we ever had suffered a separated shoulder during the San Jose series and was awesome enough to still play but wasn't as effective due to that injury

Raffi Torres- crunched Seabrook with that nasty and scored the GWG late in game one against bruins

Gillis decided to sign Marco Sturm over him during the off season.

Aaron Rome- Nathan Horton's career hasn't been the same ever since via free agency to Dallas

Tanner Glass- good energy guy missed an open net in game 5 against the bruins

Viktor Oreskivich and Jeff Tambellini- How did AV play these guys over Hodgson after game 7 they took their skates off to Europe and was never heard from again

Mikeal Samuelsson- lost him during the Nashville Series, scored GWG first round against in game 3 against Chicago and was the point man on our first PP unit traded to Florida for David Booth

Cody Hodgson- was in the doghouse and played only a handful of games during that run

Sami Salo- team couldn't afford him due to cap issues

Manny Maholtra- was having a career season before his eye injury. Gillis tried forcing him into retirement.

Cory Schnieder- back up to Bobby Lu, was just as great and probably was the most shocking trade in Canucks history

Max Lappiere- great energy guy but gillis was getting sick of his tatics

Alain Vingeult- probably the greatest coach of all time but it was time to go

Keith Ballard- his career was over before it even started in Vancouver played a few games during the run and was scratched over Alberts during the finals with a cap hit of 4.25

Andrew Alberts- forced into retirement due to concussion issues

Mayson Raymond- had a decent run but was never the same after his career season

Roberto Luongo- great during the Wins but terrible during the losses probably would have won the conn smythe had we won

Ryan Kesler- tore his groin in game 5 against the sharks and needed surgery during the finals but the warrior still played through it but wasn't the player he once was before the finals

and now Kevin Bieksa- true warrior and legend. GWG ot goal that sent the boys to the finals

so anyways, who is next?

@GradySas:

Sedins, Burrows, Higgins, Hansen, Hamhuis, Edler and Tanev are the only remaining #Canucks from 2011 Stanley Cup run. #Bruins have 10 left.

Tampa only has Stamkos from their 2011 ECF loss from the Bruins. Most likely Higgins/Hamhuis are next at the deadline if we're not exceeding expectations. If we're average/bubble, doubt we make it and JB gets something for Hamhuis rather than letting him walk. After that, Burrows some time down the road when his contract expires most likely or might even be dealt but will be tough with that contract and his production drop off. Sedins/Edler/Tanev will be the last ones.

The reason MayRay was never the same is because he broke one of his vertebrae. Just an FYI.

FYI his career season was in 2009-10

He was never the same after that. Had a pretty bad year in 10-11 due to a thumb injury and other circumstances. So yeah op is right, was never the same even before that injury.

False, Oreskovich remained with the Canucks org in 11-12. Lost his spot to Weise though... Was awesome in the playoffs minus not stepping in for Ehrhoff when McQuaid was bullying him so I would say he deserved to be in over Hodgson.

He's now a financial advisor.

The depth players on that team was pretty bad.

Are you referring to the 4th line? Glass was underrated and could play decent defence. Lapierre was a near-ideal 4th-line centre who could win faceoffs and get in the opponent's face. Some of the others, I could grant you, but our 3rd and 4th lines were pretty good.

Raymond was mediocre before the injury as well. He actually got better after he went to Toronto.
