BI3KSA-
Nice! I'm happy for him. Now he gets some much deserved stability in his and his families lives and a solid shot at the cup for a few years at least!
yoshiyoshi
nice! glad he gets to play for a team with a good chance at getting a cup before he retires
Fanuck
Good for KB. Guy is a heart/soul player. Playing in ANA, with their depth, he'll be able to play the kind of minutes he can realistically handle at this stage of his career. Still can't think I'm going to support ANA the least bit though; )!

LuckyLuciano
Seems a bit much? Who would he be comparable to around the league? Then again Flames have Engelland at 3.
Saskatchewan Canucks Fan
Really happy for him! I imagine if he signed that deal today with Vancouver that the fans wouldn't be too happy. Especially with a partial no trade clause. But it was just time to move on. I wish him all the best
Jester13
Good for KB3, not very good for ANA. Don't get me wrong, I love Bieksa and what he did for our organization, but he is not worth $4m at this stage in his career.
HerrDrFunk
I love it because Bieksa gets a good payday and we don't have to pay it!
WestlockWarrior
This contract is solely based on the Old KB3 because the New KB3 deserves probably 2.5 mil a year. Congrats to KB3, he will be fantastic in the locker room and in the community. Thank you for everything you did to the city, community , fans and team. N7Nucks
Interesting to see how he does there. This could go very wrong, or could work out amazingly well.
Guest
Good for him. Just hope his play doesn't deteriorate any further and see him bought out next summer.
Nathancanuck
That makes the Sbisa extension look like a bold move
Gaudette Celly
Good for Kevin. The NMC may also be a factor when they seek to resign Kesler. And yes -- would you rather have Bieksa at 4 or Sbisa at 3.6? Bieksa may rebound but Sbisa still has upside and many years ahead.
Standing_Tall#37
Atta boy juice, this year alot of Canucks fans will learn 2 things. How much of a difference he made(right now I think beyond Tanev our D looks like absolute $&!# ) and secondly, how good he is being put in a second pairing role...and seeing actual PP time. Probably bounces back to his 40 pt seasons again.
BabychStache
Wow. D men are pricey. Juice would have arguably been a third pairing guy here. Happy for him. Hope he gets a cup.

Probably bounces back to his 40 pt seasons again. I agree that some people around here will learn a few things. You don't know what you've got until it's gone. And SMH at the amateur Capologists. What makes people think that they are the arbiter of a player's worth, just because they watch the Canucks on a regular basis? Don't you think the Ducks have done their due diligence on Juice? They have access to film and the same advanced stats that everyone else has...

I played hockey in jr B when I was younger...and I have no explanation for it. The guy has so much skill but makes absolutely retarded plays most times. It's like he doesn't understand the game at all. I'm actually surprised Tanev did well with him this year because the style he plays usually pulls his D-partner out of position to compensate for it. IMHO, we traded the wrong guy.
