DeNiro
So glad we passed on this risky rusky and kept our 2011 pick instead. That worked out great for us.
Zfetch
he plays lw and c... But his natural position is C. Kuznetsov has played most of his career at center. If the OP truly sees him as a winger, then at least he should've been addressed as both winger and center, especially when the OP had an hour to post this. I don't think the pick year was an option, was it? At the time we were presidents trophy winners and cup finalists, so I guess nobody was paying attention. Besides, the no russkies rule was still in full effect back then.
Tanev
He was drafted in 2010. We gave up that pick in the Ballard deal. Florida took Quinton Howden with that pick, Kuznetsov was picked after that.

The deal with Florida for Ballard was either for our 2010 or 2011 1st round pick, depending on whether the player we wanted was available or not. I wouldn't trade the 2011 run for a trillion dollars and 50 Kuznetsovs. Got us the cup in 2011.

We would have traded our 2011 1st round pick (29th overall). Nothing would have changed other than the fact we wouldn't have drafted Jensen and would have had our choice of Kuznetsov, Coyle, Etem, or Nelson.
