Baka
I ve been to Chicago. It was really nice. Nobody killed me. We didnt see a single riot. They had a lot of great restaurants and none of them were being looted while we were there. In all fairness you can say this about any city you visit. When you visit cities you hang around the nicer areas with the more upscale/successful businesses and restaurants and these areas in general are always pretty safe. But if you wander into the bad areas you will notice a completely different aura. A lot of stores, fast food places, gas stations, etc will have you dealing with people behind bullet proof glass and exchanging goods in a bullet proof rotating chamber. Their are cameras on street corners sometimes not for traffic but in high crime areas where it is meant to watch the people. Hookers, tweakers, and drug dealers will be obvious spots and often approach or say things to you. If you are driving and with someone who has been around these areas even if it is summer they may tell you to roll up your windows and lock the doors or someone may target you for a quick robbery. Major cities are pretty day and night depending on the area you are in.
Mr. Ambien
What about people who aren't criminals, get guns, and then become criminals? You have a plan to stop that? Or better yet, his plan to actually get the illegal arms away from criminals. "Okay guise, it's illegal now.. come hand in your weapons"

Hugor Hill
What about people who aren't criminals, get guns, and then become criminals? You have a plan to stop that? This is why guns should be strictly controlled to begin with. Common sense. Unlike libertarians' thinking who wants to hand them out like candies. Mr. Ambien
^^ No real plan on how to disarm criminals and juggle rights within the scope of the Constitution, just vague talking points. "It's common sense!"
thejazz97
^^ defeatist speak Honestly tho. You take guns away now, you'll stop crime in some areas but only increase it in others. And you'd have to take them away all across the world, because otherwise they could be smuggled in. You'd have to shut down and confiscate all movies even involving gun violence. And once that's all said and done, you'd just have some other problem to complain about, and go through the same cycle again - eradicating as much as you can, but still having a problem with people who refuse to comply. There is a colour called grey. It is in between black and white. In fact there are numerous shades of grey. #nowyouknow

Seriously. Grey is where we are now. White is a police state, black is freedom to do literally (and I mean literally) whatever you want. Unless people change, it'll end up as one or the other very soon depending on whether it's a conservative or liberal leader that gets into power. "wild west" "mad max", etc. Of course, it never materializes, which is why people like him get frustrated when they are ignored by people who make policy and interpret laws. #feelings #outrage
