He's a solid Offensive Defenseman, can QB the PP,, and has very good chemistry with Virtanen seeing as that they both play on the same Junior team. Jake Bean is also an organizational need seeing as that we need someone that could look to become an offensive threat in the back-end. Guy is only 16 years old and he put up very good numbers despite his 6'0 175 frame in a much more tougher league in the WHL. Had 5 goals and 34 assists which is good for 39 points in his first year! That's very impressive for a 16 year old who went undrafted in Bantam. This guy can really move the puck, shoots the puck a lot and isn't afraid to shoot. possess a very accurate shot, agile skating, kind of needs to work on his defensive side of the game although it's fairly decent. He needs to get a little tougher, and tone up a bit. He can probably grow an extra 1-2 inches before he starts to mature. I've watched him play a lot last year when watching VIrtanen play. He's got character, and always seems to think the bright side of things especially when he went undrafted in Bantam and his confidence pretty much hit rock bottom. But he continued to work hard, got better, got stronger, and vastly improved on his all-around game. He's got loads of talent, and will probably available where we pick. We don't have anyone in our d-prospects that plays an offensive game other than maybe Hutton and Subban. I'd be thrilled if we got this kid.
